This is a low cut, footsie type of sock. The cuff is 1.5 inches and moves directly into a heel flap and turned heel. The instep has a simple pattern of traveling stitches (uses Left Twist and Right Twist) in a slightly modified version of the Sheepfold stitch pattern.

The pattern is designed for a woman, US size 9 foot. The length of foot is easily modified to fit size 8 or 9.5.

The stitch gauge is necessary, row gauge is not given as measurements are used for length.

The ankle version uses less then one skein.
