Sheepherder's Towel
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Description:
Herd sheep one repeat at a time into this towel. The sheep will keep your interest while the background provides lots of relaxation knitting. The towel can easily be adjusted in both width and number of sheep repeats. Worked in mosaic garter stitch, just one strand of color works every two rows. Gauge and dimensions are provided in a light worsted weight yarn. Choose colors that contrast well. Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in grayscale and check the contrast between your selection(s). The pattern provides full written instructions with (optional) positive and negative charts for making useful household linens and gifts!
