Sheepish Little Cardigan
The latest addition to my Sheepish Little Collection, is this adorable cardigan with a shawl collar and front pockets. Fair Isle sheep adorn the lower edge of the body and both sleeves.
Sheepish Little Cardigan is knit top-down in one piece with raglan shoulder shaping. The body is knit back and forth while the sleeves are knit in the round.
Sizes: newborn (3m, 6m, 12m, 18m, 24m) 2y, 4y, 6y, 8y, 10y.
Needles: US 5 / 3.75mm or size to obtain gauge, circular or straight (yoke and body) and DPNs (pockets); US 4 / 3.5mm or 1 size smaller than gauge needle, circular (hem and shawl collar); and both sizes in preferred needles for sleeves in the round.
Gauge: 20 sts and 31 rows / rnds = 4”/10cm in Stockinette stitch on larger needles.
