sizes: small (large child’s), medium (women’s), large (women’s), XLarge (men’s)
socks are about 11” high. For shorter socks, reduce the rounds of solid color knit in the chart
Gauge: 5 stitches = 1” in stranded stockinette stitch
Have trouble getting stranded knitting to stretch? → use one size larger needle when working stranded areas

1, 1, 2, 2 skeins CASCADE 220 HEATHERS (100 g, wool, 220 yards) MAIN COLOR Charcoal (MC)
1 – skein SIMPLICITY (50 g, wool, nylon, acrylic blend, 117 yards) Red CONTRASTING/FLECK COLOR
40 yards each of Cascade 220 SHEEP COLOR White and BLACK
Double Pointed or circular (32” or longer) needles #3 and #5
