SHEILA
SHEILA - a becoming plain coloured jumper in all-over lace pattern in Shetland wool. The jumper is worked in rounds until armholes. The sleeves are modified drop-shoulder sleeves with a gusset under arm worked top down. The neck band is a rolling edge in stocking st. Accurate written pattern.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4↓.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.
Sizes included in the pattern: small/medium - large - xlarge
Measurements of the garment:
Bust: 98 cm - 108 cm - 115 cm (in: 38.5 - 42.5 - 45.25)
Length: 56 cm - 58 cm - 61 cm (in: 22 - 22.75 - 24) or as desired
Yarn: this design applies for a 2ply Jumper Weignt wool, 50 g = ca. 210 meters. To use 375 - 450 - 500 g.
The original model was made in 2ply Jumper Weight Shetlandsuld, 100 % wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles.
Needles: and circular needles (or double pointed) no 2.5 mm, 3 mm and 3.5 mm.
Tension/gauge in pattern (washed sample): 25/26 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
