Sheila's Shells Ripple Blanket
Also available at a discount along with 3 other relaxing patterns in my Ripple, Relax and Crochet e-book.
Here is a fun and easy ripple pattern designed to take advantage of your everyday yarns - I produced this beautiful vibrant sample with less than $10.00 of yarn. But of course you can use up your stash or spend to whatever your budget. The dynamic and rhythmic pattern will look great in whatever yarn you decide to hook.
I recommend a J hook, about one size larger than usual, because of the single crochet rounds. I tend to stitch my single crochet tightly and found the larger hook helped my stitches stay relaxed.
Basic crochet stitches are all you need to create this beauty. I chose to use 5 colors for the 6 row repeat, but will also look great in 4 colors or in a cake yarn.
