The Shelf-Love booksleeve pattern is a crochet pattern to help you create the perfect protection for all your fave reads. With instructions to create both the sleeve and an added envelope closure (optional), you can have the cutest books in town.

The finished product can be made with customised sizing, or follow the pattern for a standard UK paperback size.

The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. Knowledge of colour changes, intarsia and colourwork crochet techniques may be preferred.

This is a UK written pattern and is written in UK crochet terms.

To make a Shelf-Love Booksleeve, you will need:

• 4mm hook or required size to meet gauge
• 50g DK yarn in two contrasting colours
• Stitch marker (optional)
• Darning needle
• Thread cutter or scissors
• 20mm button (optional)
