This pattern is for you to make an amigurumi shelf-sitting figure of Santa Claus/Father Christmas. No physical materials are supplied.

Your finished Santa is not a toy and should be for display purposes only. It will be weighted at the base and sits around 10 inches tall (not including the dangly legs). Total length is around 14 inches.

The pattern requires 5 different coloured DK/8 ply acrylic yarns + 1 fluffy white yarn:
1 x 100g ball/skein of each colour will be more than sufficient
1) Red (example: Hayfield Bonus DK Ladybird 698)
2) White
3) Black
4) Flesh
5) Gold/Yellow
6) Fluffy White (example: Bernat Pipsqueak Whitey White)

Other materials you will need:
3.5mm / Size E Crochet Hook
4mm / Size G Crochet Hook
2 x 8mm black safety eyes
Soft toy filling + no more than 300g/cup-full of weight and a small pouch to contain it (I used plastic pellets and a nylon pop-sock)
Stitch markers - as required
Scissors
Embroidery Needle
Tools to make a small 1½“ Pom-Pom
Rouge/Blusher for finishing touches on his cheeks
Optional wooden dowel/wire for neck support.
