Shell Bag - I can read charts
Welcome to my little corner of crochet heaven.
I love crocheting bags, lots of bags. My friends call my the bag lady. Yep, that’s me.
So I thought its about time I wrote the pattern for one.
So ta da
May I present to you, my first Crochet Bag pattern. The pattern is presented as both a Chart and written instructions, with lots of photos to help.
The instructions include the crochet handles, the crochet flower button and button closure. As well as instructions for lining the bag..
Gauge is not important, though I suggest if you are a loose crocheter, going down a size hook.
The size of my finished bag is 30 cm long and 32 cm wide, not including the handles.
You can use as many colors as you like, or just one. The pattern has a lovey texture and 3D look about it.
I recommend using a quality natural fiber. This will ensure your bag is sturdy, hard wearing, and will last for ages.
Happy hooking
Cheers Maggie
