• yarn: 2 skeins of Drops Belle from Drops GarnStudio or any other 8 ply / DK / worsted yarn that will result in the gauge: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inch) => 14 sc x 20 rows, using 5 mm crochet hook (square of sc)
• crochet hook: 5mm / 6 UK / 8/H US, or size hook which will result in the stitch gauge shown below
• moveable stitch marker, or safety pin
• scissors
• tapestry needle or small crochet hook, size 1.5-1.75 mm, to wave in the ends
