Shell Fringe Poncho
I spent a very long time on this pattern perfecting it and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have. It is relatively quick and easy to memorize. It’s simple stitches only look complicated and your finished work will make you look like a pro! This pattern should be fine for you as long as you know how to follow a basic pattern and know your basic stitches. The piece is worked in the round.
I personally love my poncho and wear it in the mornings when I collect eggs from my hens. It’s a good chill buster, perfect in the fall and winter. It’s also very cozy inside too. It’s perfect dressed up and down!
I made the sample using Caron Soft yarn and a Clover Amor hook. I have medium tension with no super loose stitches. This pattern should be fine to use any light worsted weight yarn I’m going to give you a general sizing instead of a “gauge” to go buy because this piece is customizable and you can tweak it however you’d like.
