Shell Lace Cowl
This lightweight cowl is perfect for autumn. It uses a pretty stitch pattern that reminds me of cockleshell stitch but is much easier to knit! It relies on the same principle of increasing over several rows then decreasing suddenly to form a shell shape. The pattern is easy to learn and makes a great travel project, and it’s a fairly quick knit so it’s also perfect for a last minute gift. It’s suitable for an advanced beginner wanting to develop skills beyond simple knit and purl stitches.
