This sock was inspired by the texture found on beaches. The ripples of the water and the sand. The pattern is simple enough to knit while walking on the beach, but not so boring with its changing ribs. The texture pattern also adds in some extra stretch to the sock, for added fit and comfort.

This is a top-down sock with a traditional heel flap. It is worked using magic loop; needle 1 will be the front of foot/instep/leg, and needle 2 will be the back of foot/leg and heel. Sized from child to large adult these are perfect socks for the whole family.

Sock sample knit size 3 with Circus Tonic Handmaid Dathliad BFL Sock ‘Shell Seeker’ 53g for MC and Sewrella Yarn mini from Gilmore Girls ‘Lorelai’ set 15g for CC.
