Get your doll ready for cooler weather with a beautiful crocheted cardigan or a cute bolero done with a lovely shell stitch and a sweet collar. Make each with either short or long sleeves. This crochet pattern was designed to fit 18” dolls such as American Girl. The pattern has been tested by three wonderful ladies who have over 80 years of crochet experience between them. One of the testers was a successful crochet pattern writer in the 1980s publishing several books of crocheted collar patterns. It was agreed between the testers and me that this pattern does require some experience in following crochet instructions, so it is rated for intermediate crocheters.
