This is a lovely preemie hat pattern that measures 11” around the brim, which is the perfect size for a 3-4lb preemie baby, or about 31-33 weeks gestation. This hat works up wonderfully in one color or several, works well for a boy or girl, and the shell stitch stripe adds some textural interest. A classic design, and one that can be adjusted to make a larger or smaller hat by using a larger or smaller hook and/or yarn.
