ABOUT THE PATTERN

This hat is super adorable, on the kids it can either be a little slouchy or a beanie with a rolled up brim. The brim can be rolled up to fit smaller heads and as your child grows it can be unrolled. The hat will fit your child for many years. The adult size is a beanie, if you’d like more slouch simply add a couple extra rows of shells.

3 different yarn recommendations are included in pattern.

Pattern includes four different sizes, each using a different size crochet hook:

Toddler
Child
Teen
Adult

This hat is crocheted in the round, from the bottom up. There are written, photo & video tutorials included in pattern. These explain the ribbed band, my unique star gather close as well as instructions on how to make large, fluffy yarn pom pom.
