YARDAGE:
Prototype sweater is size 3 and has been made with Sweet Georgia Yarns “Tough Love Sock” (combining tonal hot pink skeins as “Yarn A” with 2 Party of 5 sets as “Yarn B”). Size 1 can get by with 1 Party of 5 set (each set is 5 x mini-skeins of 96m = total 480m), but Sizes 2-7 will need 2 sets and Sizes 8-11 will need 3 sets. Regular skeins are 388m/115g of 80%superwash merino/20% nylon blend.

See last image for schematic with garment dimensions and Yardage.
This screenshot from UK version of the pattern shows required amount of yarn for garment and swatching, plus a guide for extra yardage if you want to add length.

During the test we have used a few other yarns to broaden accessibility. Other yarns I personally used for testing and developing this pattern are:

Life In The Long Grass “Moon” sock yarn (80%merino/20%silk; 366m/100g)
and
Morris & Sons “Empire 4ply” yarn
(Australian merino; 175m/50g)

My launch blog includes details of these, and shows off tester samples!
