The Shells and Sea Glass Tam and Beret features a unique stitch that may be fiddly at first, but works up to form a beautiful fabric. A fingering weight yarn with high twist or a heavier weight yarn is recommended for fullness.

220 (260) yards, 200 (240) meters of fingering weight yarn for Tam.
250 (290) yards, 228 (265) meters of fingering weight yarn for Slouchy Beret.
Sample shown in Posh Sylvia 4ply, 50% merino, 50% silk, 440yd/400m per 100g
Note: For a fuller-bodied beret, feel free to use DK weight yarn to achieve your desired fabric.
