Shells Beach and Market Bag
Open and airy with a pretty lace shell motif, this bag can be used as an eco-friendly market bag or for the beach. The pattern comes with two options- it can be made out of a machine washable cotton/ nylon bulky weight yarn or a natural jute twine. Pattern instructions are slightly different. The cotton-nylon yarn results in a very elastic bag. The bag is knit in the round from the top down with a simple whip stitch seam along the bottom. Continuous I-cord trim and handles are knit into the top of the bag.
Size 10 needles are used for the jute bag and Size 11 needles for the cotton bag.
ANNOUNCEMENT: I have found that many of my customers are accomplished knitters but are unsure of their felting skills. There are many little tips that can help with felting that are too varied or random to include in every pattern. I am hoping to start a newsletter in the near future to answer direct questions and offer some tips that will help you achieve the outcome you want. In it, I will also announce new patterns, provide newsletter-only discounts. The newsletter will be monthly and you will not be bombarded with emails! Thanks!
