Sizes available:0-24 months, 2-4 years.
Yarn: cotton yarn with a yardage of approx. 165 m/50 g (180 yds/1.75 oz).
Possible substitutions: cotton, merino wool or blends with matching gauge with 4 mm (US6) needles.
Recommended yarn: Drops Uni Color, YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton baby soft, Sandnes yarn duo, Drops Safran, Drops loves you #7.
Totals used: narrow collar – approx. 15-20 g (0.5-0.7 oz), wide collar – approx. 20-25 g (0.7-0.8 oz).
Needles: circular needles 4 mm (US6) with cable length 40 cm (16 in), additional circular needle 4 mm (US6).
Notions: 4 mm (US6) crochet hook, tapestry needle, 1 button with diameter approx. 1 cm (0.4 in), scissors, about 1 yard of contrasting color waste yarn.
Gauge: make a gauge swatch and count your stitches after washing and blocking! It might be necessary to change needle size to achieve a matching gauge. If you knit tighter (have more stitches), use thicker needles, if you knit more loosely (have fewer stitches), use thinner needles.
Approx. 22 sts and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 in) in stockinette stitch on 4 mm (US6) needles (after washing and blocking).
