Sheltering Tree Hat
When is a cabled hat not a cabled hat? When it’s a faux cabled hat, using a clever lace knitting technique that doesn’t require a cable needle! This is the hat for those who love the cabled look but not the process. The design lends itself easily to a more slouchy style, depending on the number of repeats required.
There is no band to begin with, you just launch straight in - and before you know it, you’ll be done! The shaping is worked into the knitting of the design, to keep the pattern flowing to a taper & to maintain a lovely finish at the top.
Very suitable for the beginner lace knitter. What’s not to love?! The straightforward, written instructions include 4 sizes, to fit from a toddler up to a large adult.
