Shelzi Square
A cute and versatile square that works with a multitude of yarns & hooks!
Suggested yarn and hook sizes:
4ply with a 4 - 4.5mm - creates a light and lacy square appr. 11-12cm, great for spring/summer
8 ply with a 5 - 5.5mm - creates a lovely mid-weight square appr. 16cm, ideal for cooler days
10 ply with a 6.5 - 7mm - creates a warm and squishy appr. 20cm square, perfect for winter
Depending on your tension finished sizes may vary!! (NB: I have a rather relaxed tension)
I recommend doing a test square to check your size then adjust hook size accordingly to suit your planned project <3
Try a single colour for a subdued or classic effect. Experiment with variegated and multi-colour changes for fun and festive looks!
Work in rounds without turning.
This is my first block pattern!! :)
