It’s getting foggy… and I saw a shepherd with his flock of sheep in the meadow next to our little river “Aisch” at day break. I simply had to draft this beanie!

And cool: the sheep are back and I could get some pictures! When I approached they all came running. I think they thought they get feeded. No just photographed ;-)

It has a three color ribbing, followed by tiny sheep and the shepherd and his dog above. Next come the trees next to the river in the morning fog in grey and white and in the back you can see further trees and the church tower and some houses of our little town.

The sky in the lovely day break colored sky in red, yellow, and blue with the orange sun rising ending in a lovely crown pattern. :)

Due to the many color changes it is a hat for more experienced stranded knitters. However it’s easier to knit than you may think as there are at most two colors in one round!

You need a lot of colors but not much of it (some sock yarn leftovers will do).

Instead of using different yarns for the blue, pink, yellow color change of the sky you can also use one color-changing yarn. So you spare yourself some color changes and use the color change in the wool instead which makes it a bit easier for you to knit it.

You can knit the beanie in any 4- to 5-ply yarn. Sizes may then differ slightly.

Diese Mütze mußte ich machen, als ich eines Morgens vom Bus aus im Frühnebel auf den Aischauen einen Schäfer mit seinen Schafen gesehen habe.

Hey! Cool! Die Schafe sind wieder da! Und sie haben sich fotografieren lassen. Kamen alle angelaufen, als ich hin bin. Dachen wohl es gibt Futter. Nee, nur Foto! ;-)

Im Hintergrund die Bäume, die die Aisch, unser kleines Flüsschen säumen.Dahinter sieht man noch mehr Laub und den Kirchturm und ein paar Häuser.

Die Sonne geht grad auf und taucht den Himmel in ein herrliches Farbenspiel in blau, orange, pink, rot. Die Sonne ist orange.
Das hat mir so gut gefallen, das mußte einfach auf eine Mütze!

Da die Mütze sehr viele Farbwechsel hat, ist sie eher was für erfahrene Mehrfarbenstricker.

Anstatt des pink,gelb-Verlaufs, könnt Ihr auch eine Wolle mit ähnlichem Farbverlauf nehmen. Ein bisschen “fake-fair isle”. Dann tut Ihr Euch etwas leichter ;-)

Ihr braucht viele Farben, aber meist nicht viel davon. Also ein paar Sockenwollreste könnt Ihr damit verarbeiten.
Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen! :)

Ihr könnt jedes 4- bis 5-fach Garn verwenden. Die Größen können dann leicht abweichen.

Das Muster ist derzeit nur in Englisch erhältlich. Bei Bedarf kann ich es aber gerne auf Deutsch übersetzen.
