The stitch used in this pattern and all of the Nativity scene associated with it is described as “crok” or “crochet looks knitted”.
The vest on this doll is made separately and uses the loop stitch rather than the crock.
You will need:
tan sport weight yarn
dark brown sport weight yarn
blue sport weight yarn
scraps of sport weight yarn
off-white sport weight yarn
blue embroidery floss
pink embroidery floss
3.25 mm hook (D) (size 0)
cardboard cone
stuffing
scissors
needle
12” piece of copper wire
