The new colours in Stylecraft Special DK reminded me of the seaside and vintage sweets so I named this baby blanket Sherbert Seaside.

A straightforward pattern that most crocheters would be able to make and a perfect size for newborns as a car seat/pushchair blanket

Materials needed

1. 4 balls of Stylecraft Special DK in Cream,Spearmint, Powder Pink, Cornish Blue
2. 5mm hook
3. large-eye sewing needle

Gauge not important but I used a 5mm hook as it made the blanket drape nicely
