Sheri, a mini-shawl or neck-kerchief, is perfect as a touch of warmth on fall or spring days, a comforting scarf for blustery winter days, or even a decorative layer for cool summer offices. Worked side to side, the scalloped lace border is challenging but fun.

Not recommended for beginning lace knitters.

October 10, 2011: In the note section of the pattern, it was incorrectly stated that the right side rows should be worked left to right and the wrong side rows right to left. The right (odd) side rows should be worked right to left (the chart is correct) and the wrong (even) side rows should be worked left to right. The .pdf file has been updated.

Errata: September 22, 2011. There was an error in the cast on and bind off portions of the pattern. The .pdf document has been updated and tested. I apologize for the confusion and ask that you please try again. Thank you for being patient with the newbie designer.

Errata: August 25, 2011: The key for the chart did not have the explanation for the symbol “s”. This means that the stitch should be slipped purl wise from the left to the right needle without working. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. The revised .pdf has been uploaded.

Errata: The original .pdf was missing the symbol “o” in the chart key. It stands for yarn over, and has been added to the revised .pdf, uploaded Aug. 22, 2011. Sorry for the inconvenience.
