Knitting pattern for a pair of children’s Sherpa boot slippers that are velvety soft and cozy! The suede-like main color is accented with Sherpa-like trim for an updated country look.

The suede portion is seamlessly worked using double-pointed needles, and the Sherpa trim is added upon completion. A fold-down Sherpa cuff provides an extra soft top edge.

Available in four children’s sizes to fit feet from about 4.5” to 8.5” in length.

Yarn selection for the main color is important for the “Sherpa” look. For a Santa boot, the main color shown is:

  • Bernat Blanket Brights in “Race Car Red”

but a deeper red color could also be

  • Bernat Blanket Solids in “Cranberry”

The Sherpa-like trim is Bernat Pipsqueak “Whitey White”, a soft fluffy yarn that adds texture and contrast.

This is a simple construction with detailed instructions that is seamless and works up very quickly - a great project for using up extra red Blanket yarn from Christmas projects!
