PATTERN AND SIZING NOTES

• For this fast crochet hat and scarf set, you must have knowledge of: working in the BB of the foundation chain, single crochet, single crochet in the back loop (for hat ribbing), Moss Stitch (aka Granite Stitch, Linen Stitch) triple crochet, seaming.
• The stitch used for the texture of this fast crochet hat and scarf set is the Berry Stitch, which is alternating SC and TC so that the SC pulls down the height of the TC and makes it pop out like a little faux bobble.
• With the exception of the 1st and last rows on the scarf, and the 1st row of the body of the hat (which are in plain SC), and excepting the rows of Berry Stitch, the remainder of the body of the scarf and hat are done in Moss Stitch.
• In order to make your TC pop out, you must pull the following SC quite tight.
• The stitch count is given in parentheses ( ) at the end of each row.
