Shetland Mirry Dancers’ Night
I witnessed Northern Lights in Finnish Lapland a few years ago and I wanted to transfer my memories of the Mirry Dancers into Shetland landscape. So to put it in context I designed crofts from two different points of view and then a sky full of aurora borealis colours dancing around.

Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight yarn (100% Shetland Wool; 115m / 125yds per 25g ball)
1 ball of each of the following shades:
A fc14mix (dark purple)
B 202 (off white)
C 133mix (dark pink/purple)
D 72mix (coral)
E fc52mix (blue)
F fc21mix (light purple)
G 29mix (green)
