Shetland Sheep
This pattern is part of the WOOL - Issue #1 -Vests for Babies and Toddlers Book. Five basic vest styles are given for both DK and Worsted weight yarns. Each of these five basic styles is written in 6 sizes.
Every year, The Gourmet Yarn Shop organizes a knitting retreat to a different country. It’s easy for this group of travelers to unite, since they all have one thing in common, they all love to knit. This vest was inspired by the Shetland Isle Knitting Retreat in 2018.
Center the sheep chart in any size of the basic vest patterns in the WOOL book, and fill the extra side stitches with stockinette stitch. Not completely a beginners pattern, but definitely a fun one!
Yarn Requirements are approximate and will depend on the final gauge. I encourage to try different yarn weights for this pattern, using the baisc vest styles in the WOOL book.
