most any DK yarn can be used for this . Suggested 2 solids. 5 skeins of the main color and 1 skein for the cabled collar trim. This project it is knit side ways with picked up stitches at the armhole for the sleeves and then cabled collar/ trim is knit separately and then sewn on.And the measurements from side to side project measures 40” . There are 13.5” to the first armhole then there is 13” in between the 2 armhole then 13.5” to the end. You could adjust the size by adding more space/inches between the armholes and then another inch on either side.
