This shawl was inspired by amazing old lace patterns from the Shetland islands.

• The shawl has a rectangle shape.
• The shawl is worked from one short border to another in one piece.
• Always work first 5 sts and last 5 sts in Garter stitch (knit on RS and WS).
• Always slip the first stitch purlwise (with yarn in front).
• The Shetland Chart have all rows – right and wrong.

Finished measurements: width approx 30in (75cm), length approx 70in (180cm) after blocking.
