Pattern Description:

This Shiba dog amigurumi model is our family’s dog: Gonta.

Using easy stitches, you can make this lively charming dog which its expression can be easily made with black felt sheet.

1 main color (MC) and 1 contrasting color (CC), as needed.
You can make this dog toy with any yarn weight, but the yarn colors used per dog toy need to be the same or close
in weight.
I made this with Japanese “Namihuto” yarn, which has the same weight as 8-ply yarn.

Gauge:
The gauge is not important in this pattern, but a smaller-sized hook may be better for a tighter gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:
Approximate dimensions are H: 12 cm, L: 24 cm, W: 7 cm. The toy(tm)s size will change according to your stitch gauge and yarn selection.

Materials:
1 main color (MC) and 1 contrasting color (CC)
The suggested hook size is 3 mm. I used Japanese #5 (close to US #2 or #3 and UK #11).
