Shiba Inu Amigurumi
Subi is inspired from a real-life shiba inu pup owned by Monica Canlas Tuy (@mmonicatuy), the very talented Filipina-American author of the children’s book: “My Pinsans & Me: Amara’s Talent Show” (@mypinsansandme). Subi is one of the main characters along with her owner and best friend, Amara. When I saw the characters of this amazing book, Subi caught my eye and I knew I had to make a pattern for her. Monica is very kind and generous to give me permission to do so. Here’s the link of the book to see the adventures of Amara and Subi while learning about their fun Filipino family and culture (available on Amazon)
