Shieldmaiden was designed around a skein I spotted in Alexandra’s booth at Flock 2023. Those teeny rainbows captivated me, and I knew I needed to design something that would let them shine!

This pattern is a great knit companion for activities like traveling, chatting with friends, or watching TV. Most of it consists of garter or stockinette stitch, with two narrow vertical panels punctuating the front and back of the garment. These panels could feature any motif you like, with or without vertical stranding.

Available sizes are S(M, L). Finished dimensions are approximately 15(17, 18.5) inches in diameter at the top cuff, 26(27.5, 29) inches at the bottom cuff, and 7 inches in length. Metric dimensions: 38(43, 47) cm top cuff, 66(70, 74) cm bottom cuff, 18 cm length.
