The Knitting Goddess BFL Masham 4ply (fingering; 75% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% Masham; 400m / 437yd per 100g skein)
Shade: MC | March 2019; 1 x 100g skein
Shade: CC | March 2019; 1 x 20g skein
Sample used 80g (320m / 350yd) of MC and 8g (32m / 35yd) of CC.
5mm / US 8 circular needle 60cm / 24in length or straight needles
Spare 5mm / US 8 circular needle 60cm / 24in length or straight needles to hold stitches of second half of cowl for three-needle bind-off and grafting.
Spare 5mm for three-needle bind-off
Waste yarn for provisional cast on (or spare cables if using the cast on method that uses a spare cable)
Tapestry needle for grafting

Always use the needle size that enables you to match the specified gauge.
18 sts and 32 rows over 10cm / 4in of garter stitch worked flat and blocked, using 5mm / US 8 needles and yarn held double

The sizing is easy to adjust if you want a shorter or longer cowl.
