This shawl/wrap is made in the interwoven or locking filet crochet technique. It is just a bit different shaped (an L-shape) and the squares you make will be bigger than with regular interwoven crochet. This makes that the shawl is airy and has a really nice drape!

For this shawl I used 1 Scheepjes Whirl cake in the color Red Velver Sunrise. Next to that I used 2 balls Whirlette in the color Liquorice (black). You might want to make the shawl a little bit bigger: in that case you have to get a 3rd Whirlette.

The size of the shawl is about 80 cm on the inside of a leg of the L-shape (so from neck to the front) and about 130 cm at the outside of a leg of the L-shape. The height (at 14 blocks) is about 61 cm. In the pictures you see this covers your back and arms comfortably.

Deze omslagdoek is gemaakt met de interwoven of locking filet crochet technique. Het is een beetje andes gevormd (een L-vorm) en de hokjes die je maakt zijn groter dan met regulier interwoven crochet. Dit maakt dat de sjaal luchtig is en heel mooi soepel valt!

Voor deze omslagdoek heb ik 1 bol Scheepjes Whirl gebruikt in de kleur Red Velvet Sunrise. Daarbij heb ik 2 bollen Whirlette gebruikt in de kleur Liquorice (zwart). Misschien wil je de sjaal iets groter maken: dan heb je een 3e Whirlette nodig.

Het formaat van de sjaal is ca 80 cm aan de binnenkant van een been van de L-vorm (dus vanuit de nek naar de voorkant toe) en ca 130 cm aan de buitenkant van een been van de L-vorm. De hoogte (bij 14 blokken) is ca 61 cm. Op de foto’s zie je dat je rug en armen lekker worden bedekt.
