This pattern is designed to use a gradient set of 24 colours. Approximately 45m of each colour is required for size A, 60m for size B or 42m for the DK version

The earthy texture of garter stitch comes to life with tonal and lightly variegated shades, but you do not have to limit your creativity to a gradient colour scheme. Why not experiment with contrasts, or create unexpected combinations with leftovers!
