Shimmer is a single-skein triangle scarf that employs the concept of assigned pooling to create texture.

This technique isolates texture changes within shifts in color in a specially dyed skein of variegated yarn. The stockinette stitch, assigned to the main color, serves as a simple backdrop for the sprout stitch worked in the accent color.

The resulting texture pattern in Shimmer beautifully resembles the glistening morning sun reflecting upon the ocean’s surface.

Yarn One skein of Barker Wool Silky Solo in any assigned pooling colorway.
