This lovely mirror-image scarf is created by working easy stitches on both sides of the foundation chain in a symmetrical pattern. When worked in a color-changing yarn, each half of the scarf offers a visually unique experience. The scarf could also be worked in a solid color to show off the symmetry of the two halves or each half could be made in a different solid color so that one half becomes a more subtle echo or shadow image of the other. This is a very quick and easy project that could add a festive touch to your wardrobe or be a thoughtful gift for a friend.

Note that while this little scarf is designed to flatter the petite woman, it can easily be made longer by increasing the length of the foundation chain by any multiple of 6 chains.
