Shinobi is available in both English and Japanese.

A combination of Twisted Rib and Twisted Mesh stitch patterns is used to create an outstanding and stretchy texture. Without waist shaping, the garment flatters you with the ribbing running down the sides of the body, and has 5 triangle motifs, on the front neck, sleeves, and sides of the body making for the cool accents.
Shinobi is another way of saying ‘Ninja’. My children, who are big fans of a Japanese Anime “Naruto’, named the pullover Shinobi when they saw my sample. (Shinobis wear a chain-mail like top underneath their famous black costume.)

NEEDLES
●Body―5 mm (US 8): 60 cm 24” circular (cir) for yoke, and 80 cm 32” cir for body.
●Sleeves―5 mm (US 8): 80 cm 24” cir or set of 4 double-pointed (Recommend Magic Loop method because the pattern is offset every two rows).
●Neckband―4 mm (US 6): 40 cm 16” cir.
(Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.)

NOTIONS
Waste yarn,
8 markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
20 sts/22 rows = 10 cm 4” in Twisted Mesh patt, after blocking on larger needle.

NOTES
This raglan pullover is worked in the round from the top down, shaped to raise the back of the neck with short rows.
The mesh stitch pattern will stretch well when worn.

【日本語版追記です】裏面でノット編みを作る際は、糸を編地の手間に置いてから、右針に1目すべり目してください。

ねじりゴム編み（Twisted Rib）とねじりメッシュ（Twisted Mesh）――2種類の模様で構成されたプルオーバー。黄金の伸縮コンビのメッシュとゴムで着心地が良いのはもちろんですが、ねじり目を入れたことで編地に奥行きが出て、きりっと引き締まったスタイルになりました。脇下から伸びる太めのゴム編みは体に自然にフィットし、また三角モチーフが５ヵ所に 配置されてアクセントになっています。
日本のアニメ「NARUTO- ナルト -」の大ファンの子どもたちがShinobiと名づけました。(忍者のくさりかたびらに見えたようです！）
