This is a baby blanket in a simple ripple pattern using a self-striping yarn with sequins. The pattern can be made any size you want, and you can use any yarn. It’s just a basic ripple pattern but came out pretty in this yarn and size.
Yarns with long color repeats are all fine for getting the simple stripes, but I recommend the Mandala yarns by Lion Brand as they are beautiful colors, plus they are machine washable, which is great for babies.
By the way, the sequins are very firmly attached to the yarn, and mothers approve. :slightly_smiling_face:
