Shirley is a fun-loving Dinosaur who will quickly endear herself to anyone she meets (young or not-so young!).

In the initial design/test make, I used four main colours of 8ply/DK cotton, plus some 4ply black and white yarns for the facial features and spots. But you can customise and use fewer colours for a slightly different look. This will then determine how much yarn you will need. If using four colours (as per the original pattern), you will need at least one ball of each colour.

With an 8ply/DK weight yarn she comes out to approximately 28cm/11in in height, 21cm/8.5in from legs to tail (depth) and 18.5cm/7.25in width across the front.
