I made this on the way to Malmo in 2014, but the pattern is only just available now.

To be honest, I abandoned the idea of releasing it because it seemed crazy that it took so many pages to explain something that was actually so simple and relaxing to make.

But there was a lot of interest and every time I tested it the testers enjoyed the process and liked their finished items, so I decided to go ahead with it.

So, please don’t be put off by all the pages and text - they are to walk you through the process and provide you with various options, the actual knitting is easy.

To make things even easier we’ll be having a KAL over in the stitchnerds group until mid Feb. 2017 if you’d like to join us.

Great fun to knit with a striking result.

NoCoBo = no cast-on, no bind-off, but not a standard sideways construction, so we get nice drape ☻

Same construction as NoCoBo (the 3-3-1 MKAL) and Supersymmetry (NoCoBo)

Allow about 400m/440yds (or more for a larger shawl) in any weight (fingering-worsted).
