Shivers Hat
Shivers Hat is fun to knit and comfortable to wear. A combination of stitches (stockinette, garter and half-brioche) leaves no chance for boredom as you work.
Use stretchy yarn in heavy DK weight to ensure comfortable fit.
Finished size
To fit head circumference 55-58 cm (21,7 – 22,8 in)
Height 24 cm (10 in)
Yarn
Fyberspates Vivacious DK or similar (100% superwash wool, 115g / 230m) ~ 0,6 skein / 65g / 130m / 142yd

Needles and accessories
-Circular needles 3,5mm (US4) and 4mm (US6), double-pointed needles 4mm (US6) (if you need them for working smaller diameter in the round)
-Stitch marker
-Crochet hook or tapestry needle to weave in the ends.
Gauge
1x1 Rib (unstretched) using 3,5mm needles:
26 sts х 28 rows = 10 х 10 cm = 4 x 4 in
Stockinette (flat sample, blocked) using 4mm needles:
18,5 sts х 26 rows = 10 х 10 cm = 4 x 4 in
Pattern (chart 2) (flat sample, unstretched, blocked) using 4mm needles:
16sts х 28 rows (1 pattern repeat) = 7,25 x 10 cm = 2,85 x 4 in
