このセーターは, ハシビロコウをイメージして作ったセーター”Shoebill Sweater” のシンプルバージョンです. 編み込みが苦手な方でも編みやすいように, 裾と袖口の編み込みをなくし, 羽が重なって見えるような模様編みになっています. ヨークの模様編みの部分にも少し糸の渡りの長い箇所はありますが, 糸を引っぱりすぎないように注意して編んでいただければ, それほど難しくなく編めると思います. 羽の色を変えることで, お好きな鳥の羽にすることができます♪

This sweater is a simpler version of “Shoebill Sweater” which embodied the image of shoebill. For those who feel less confident of color work, the hem and cuffs are lace chart instead of color work. The lace chart looks like the folded wings are overlapped. At the end of the yoke, the strand runs relatively longer than the previous rows, but I think you can knit it without difficulty as long as you keep the same tension and try not to pull the yarn too tightly. You can make your favorite bird’s feathers by changing the color of the yarn, so try knitting with the image of your favorite bird♪
