Sholay cowl

Sholay means „fire“ in Hindi and is also the name of one of the
most successful movies from India.
This cowl uses handspun yarn (roughly worsted weight) and can easily be adjusted in width or height.
I used the contents of one phatfiber (fluff) box for this project and spun it into a selfstriping yarn (112g ca. 208m).
The mirrored sequins or Shisha mirrors are typical for Indian/ethnic style mirrorwork pieces. Alternatively you could use pretty buttons or beads.
You could easily adjust the pattern for a scarf or wider cowl.
I used approx 112m (without swatch).
As of today, Sept. 23rd, the pattern is available for free.
