Inspired by decorative features of traditional shophouses in Singapore.

The cable design on the front reflects geometric lines of metal grilles, timber shutters and balustrades. The lace design on the back is inspired by the beauty and function of decorative air vents and floor tiles. Like how shophouses have been designed with function and comfort in mind for the tropical climate, Shophouse Tee keeps the same design principles for comfortable wear through the warm months.

Note
This top-down pullover begins with Crochet Provisional Cast-On to
create the back neck band. It is then worked flat to shape the back
and shoulders. The back neck band joins seamlessly with the front
neck finishing as stitches are picked up from the shoulders to work
the front. Below armholes, the pullover is worked in the round to the hem. Stitches are picked up around the armholes, then the sleeve is worked in the round with a box pleat detail above the cuff. Lace and cable patterns are worked from charts.

Note
最初にCrochet Provisional Cast-Onを使用して後ろ襟を編み, 続けて裾に向かってトップダウンで編むプルオーバー. 後ろ襟を編んだ後, 後ろ身頃と肩を形成するように往復編みで編む. 後ろ襟の作り目, 休めていた目と後ろ身頃の肩の目から拾った目で前身頃を編んでいく. 脇下まで編んだら, 前後身頃をつなげて裾まで輪で編む. 袖は袖ぐりから目を拾って, ボックスプリーツを編みながら輪で編む. レース模様, 縄編み模様はチャートに従って編む.
