This is a lovely project for new crocheters, who have learned some of the basic stitches and techniques, and want to put them into practise to make this pretty shopping bag.

This pattern uses the following stitches:
Ch: Chain Stitch
Sl st: Slip Stitch
dc (sc): Double Crochet (US Single Crochet)
tr (dc): Treble Crochet (US Double Crochet)

And the following terms:
Sk: Skip
Ch-sp: Chain space

Materials required: 160-250 yds Aran/Worsted weight cotton (we used Drops Paris, shown here in light ice blue), and a size 5.5mm I/9 crochet hook.
