Bag is constructed by knitting one side first, then picking up stitches along outside edge for gusset and other side.

Handles are knit i-cord on smaller needles and sewn to bag

Buttons are sewed on last for extra stability

Use a bulky weight yarn or 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held
together to create a similar size bag. I suggest cotton yarn for ease of use and cleaning.
